The same think happened to my MK3 Mondeo with the TDCI engine. I thought it is only me and my ear, but apparently I am not the only one. I do not think however this is due to the DPF. I rather think that this is due to the diesel fuel quality or even due to the bad functioning of the injectors in some cases. _____
