I have been in love with this truck until it recently started not starting periodically. Today is the 3rd time it has been to the dealer for this problem. The first time I had it is, the dealer replaced the PCM.

Had this with a 1999 focus ghia estate. Had with a 2003 estate and strange enough had with a 2007 ghia estate. One 1.8 and two 20 l petrol. And went through thermostates. Air flow meters and all ended with the fuel pumps. In tank. Ok starting when warm or cold but now and then.
The easiest way to check the IAC , is to turn on the ac. When the compressor clutch. Engages the idle should increase. And vice a versa when disengaged. EDIT: unless it is stuck on high idle like you said all the time. Then clean or replace it
