What you have to do is to erase the existing memory in the Parrot. To do this, turn the key on and then hold down the red and green buttons on the Parrot controller at the same time. The difference between the CK3100 and the CK3000 is the display panel. From the install diagrams I have seen, this would make no difference at all in the wiring of the unit - the display unit replaces the little 2-button unit that the CK3000 has.
thanks for the reply , looks like I have forgotten to attach the mute wire on the multican , although it is connected on the ck3100 itself.
